Ertl hasn't built toys in Dyersville for many years. The old factory is just a distribution center now. It is still a nice place to visit with the Farm Toy Museum there. Bossen Implement in Lamont is a nice stop to get some farm toys too. It is about 40 minutes mostly west and a little north of Dyersville. The John Deere Tractor Museum is in Waterloo and can be gone through in a couple hours or less if you want. I always enjoy going to the Iowa Machine Shed restaurant in Davenport when I am in the area. There is lots to see in Iowa. It is a beautiful state.
