It won't wobble the shafts because they are centered in the pilot bearing and pressure plate splines, if it's off center very bad it can cause a shortened release bearing life and irregular wear on the pressure plate fingers.
Transmission seal leakage is normally a age thing or contaminated oil, in the last couple of years the input shaft seals have leaked and oil soaked the clutches on my 4500 and 5000.
I've never had the greasable release bearing off before, the price was so crazy high that if it had grease and rolled good I'd put it back in, always figured if one when bad I'd change it to a standard hub and bearing.
