Hi All;
I have just drained the Transmission oil on my 1950 TEA20. It looked like Baby Poo Cream/Brown colour. There is a lot ( and I mean a lot)of sludge at the bottom of the transmission cases, along with some water.
Before I waste 25lts of good oil is there a cheaper way of flushing the cases out, with for example Kero?
I can get my hand in some bits through the inspection cover and PTO hole, but not the gearbox.
