looking for a quick fix,the starter drive gear broke on my 1963 massey ferguson 65 today.it has a 12 volt system with a fairly new 12 volt starter that i cannot find any ID #'s but was told by previous owner that it is new.i also have a ferguson TO30 with a 6 volt system and starter.my question is can i swap the TO30 6 VOLT on the 65 12 volt system safely till i get the starter drive fixed on the 12 volt starter.thank you,any info is welcome
