Failing out of the box is one thing. In recent years, I have had what I thought was high condenser failure rate. Then I thought a little more about it. I didn't have any idea how old the condensers were. Maybe some were 10-40 years old. When these tractors were in full use, regular tune-ups were performed. At each tune-up, the condenser was replace as a standard practice. If the condenser was replaced as part of an annual tune-up, they never had the opportunity to fail.
