I guess if your loader doesn�t have a quick attach bucket, then one of these spears will work but, years ago when I had one, I found it did damage the bucket. The weight of the bales bent the floor of the bucket. If you have only a few bales 100 or less, guess it could be ok. But I would go get a quick plate, and a bale spear , then you can also use othe attachments on the loader.
