We have gotten lots of packages that start with either UPS or FedEx, then USPS finishes the delivery. It all comes down to the shipper. Sometimes they can get a cheaper shipping rate by sending packages to a central location, such as local post office, then have USPS finish the delivery. Even happens with 2nd Day packages, which really blows my mind that they can be that efficient so often.
Not exactly sure about the PT thing that Randy mentioned, but there have been a couple of times that I know of that UPS finished delivering a package that was shipped for USPS to finish. Why? Because they had other packages that same day coming here. ...Maybe they reached the post office "after" the carrier left for the day. Don't know. In any case, nothing to worry about.....unless something goes wrong. *lol*
