Randy, Automation in all industries are taking away as many jobs as foreign competition. The roll of wire that I bought earlier this month was made in Vietnam, the roll that I received today was made in China. How many USA jobs did I save today by paying the new price. I'm sure this new roll of wire has been in the US supply chain well before the teriffs were levied, if indeed they have, Seams like some price hedging, going on under the pretense of new tariffs. It is a 2 edged sward. Likely the importers that bought previous stock may have to pay more for new stock than they were selling the old for, so they are in a negative cash flow situation, and adjusting accordingly, to prevent that. Don't you wish you could adjust your market price for beef like they do for steel products.???? Loren
