I prefer Firefox, but not after version 56.0. Also, I use the 32-bit version as I have troubles with the 64-bit. Works GREAT on my Win 7 puters.
Also, I don't let ANYTHING auto-update on my machines....other than Norton, which works totally in the background. Windows requires too many re-starts, almost always at inconvenient times, so I'll manually update every week or two at MY convenience.
Used to let Firefox auto-update, but when their "new & improved" version came out, the style seems to emulate some of the other browsers that I don't like -- part of the reason I stayed with Firefox to begin with. 56.0 is the newest version of Firefox before it went bad.
