It really depends on what your company works. If you follow DOT HOS rules you can not work over 14 hours a day or more than 60 hours in 7 days.
But there is always exemptions to rules.
If your company works 7 days a week they can "choose" to change the 60/7 rule to 70 hours in 8 days. If they are closed 1 day a week this is not a option. And everyone that works for said company must work on the same rule.
If you take off 34 hours in a row it resets your 60/7 hours back to zero.
