I had the first version of Windows 10 and with that - it was easy to turn off automatic updating by saying I have a "metered" Internet connection. Then - like an idiot - I manually updated. Now that my Windows 10 has the "latest and the greatest" - I cannot turn off automatic update without going into near DOS mode and working with the registry.
