So years ago my dad blew the ring and pinion on this 1965 Ford 1ton. We found a rear end to use to fix the problem and since a that time the brakes worked I just took the ring and pinion out of the replacement rear end. Plus the replacement is 8 bolt type wheel. I got the thinking that maybe I could pull one of the hubs off that rear end and install it on one side and use 8 hole rims on one side and 6 hole on the other side so as to be able to run with duals till I get replacement 6 hole rims. So sine the ring and pinion worked how likely is it that the hub will work?? Thank
