Learned and have grafted fruit trees, but was wondering how many of you graft your own fruit trees?! Seems like more and more of the antique apple (as well as other fruit trees) varities are being forgotten! I have 1 80 year old Yellow transparent that I have kept pruned, and it still gives off bushels of fruit With the cost of trees from growers, limited varity, plant size limits.....I have been grafting all the old orchard, roadside, and abandoned farm fruit trees ( those found to be good eating, cooking, sauce and storage) Getting long winded here! Anyway... was wondering if many of you do this ?!
