If I had it to do over again I would have got the top of the line model (Grand L) that has a GOOD SEAT not the standard bota garbage seat, Tilt steering column, adjustable lower lift arms. After I got over the shock I should have walked right past that compact tractor and moved up to a unity tractor in the 60 HP range.
I brought hydrostatic it can not be beat for loader work, grading and mowing (my main use for the bota). I tried to plow with it the hydro drive sucks up all the power a ford 8N will kick its arse plowing and using a disc.... I keep a couple old Fords to do that work...BTW L4600 4X4 brought as a plain Jane, has a tier 4 emissions label with no water Mellon under the hood to regen...
The Hydraulic Shuttle Shift (HSD Models) and Glide Shift Transmission (GST Models) are nice (light years ahead of a standard shift trans. I should have got a Grand L GST it would have meet all my needs..
All in said and done I enjoy it... 12 more payments and its all mine ( I may just get that MX I have had my eye on). I have used the insurance on a fudge up it was no problem at all. The problem I have is my dealer is just swamped all the time and understaffed... It takes forever to get anything done under warranty are a insurance job. He is splitting up his rental and other enterprises from his tractor operation I think he will improve on his turn around time... I do all his AC work they don't care what it cost FIX IT so I play along and don't beach...
