Contrary to popular myths a one wire alternator will work just fine for you,it'll start to charge as soon as you fire up the tractor and it won't run your battery down when its not running. I'm actually running one wire alternators on 8 tractors now and they all work fine for me.You'll notice that all the negative replies you get about one wire alternators will be from people the 1)Don't use one and 2)Someone that tried one 30 years ago.Or you can be like a poster I think its something like RTR that's spent lots of $$$ with a 3 wire fooled with it about a month and at last report his tractor still wasn't charging.
