I don’t use chains very often, but I do have several sets in different sizes and they are all the duo-trac design. I like them because they give good traction, but also don’t ride too rough either. On the rare winters when I do use them, I take them off as soon as the ice is gone in early spring. I do know a farmer about three miles from me that leaves them on his John Deere 60 all year round. He even drives it right down our paved county road in high gear during the summer hauling hay with it. So, my opinion is, they must hold up pretty well and not wear too fast. He has done it for years.
