I buy Brake Parts Cleaner in the spray can. Is an economical method I use to clean up things where I don't want to do a number on painted surfaces and being petroleum based, it evaporates and doesn't cause problems in electrical connections and such.
One such use of it is to spray "rattle" paint can nozzles after use. Just a squirt and the can is ready for the next use without a clogged nozzle and you don't have to use all your propellant blowing out the thing.....on the newer "spray in any direction" cans this old tried and true method of can inversion doesn't work anyway.
