What you describe is how my truck has been for years. Great brakes but always had a soft pedal that fades if I hold down on it. Up to know I assumed that it was not quite right and would fix it "some day." So now - after all new parts - it still does it. Now - after hearing from you - seems either it is a common "problem" or maybe normal? I bought this truck with 200,000 miles and it now has 400,000 miles so I suspect a lot of work was done on it I am unaware of.
