Sodbuster according to tractor data that is a 35 pto hp. tractor that sold new for $3100.00 so I M O you did very well. what would a new 35 hp tractor cost today? $35,000.? would it have the weight and torque to do the work that old girl will do--don't think so. how many here think a 2018 tractor will still be around 60 years from today? todays tractors built of plastic and fiberglass, computer controlled, good luck keeping that going yourself! tractors back then where built simple, easy to work on, reliable rugged and with just some common sense maintenance and tlc your able to drive 6 miles down the road, pay the man, jump on fire it up and drive it home no issues. that is the reason I jumped all over the 2 m-5's I got this summer, looking at the pics you posted the old girl looks in nice shape and whoever owned it before you looked after it, I say you did very well. great find sodbuster
