I bank at the outfit that has a stagecoach. I have NEVER paid a maintenance fee unless you count the $25.00 yearly fee to have a 'Master Charge' card in the late 60's.(that got dropped when 'Visa' came along-competition) Been with them 50 years this year. I don't pay for a safe deposit box, checks are free and if I have a problem with a balance-so far it's always been me-they'll sit me down with a 'personal banker' to straighten it out. I've seen their problems on National TV but in Iowa I haven't seen it.
