The batteries used in those crazy electric cars, are lithium.
Lithium is mined as a rare earth. I'm not knowledgeable on rare earth mining but imagine that it take 10 tons of earth to get one pound of copper.
Lithium is worse, and the strongest areas to find lithium is africa, and afghanistan, mostly mined by slaves and slave children. I found a very interesting article about it last summer. But it is just another example of the hypocrisy of the left.
