My Grandparents moved to this farm in 1946, big step up from 17 acres to 50, all in fruit. Horses were still the main tools. There was an International tractor here in 1950 when the barn burned down-not sure what model. That was replaced by a JD MI, then a JD 1010, both of which I grew up on. We inherited a JD 40 with loader from the neighbor who shared equipment with Grandpa, then I added a 2355N in 1998, followed by a 5500N, 2630, 5400MFWD to replace the 2630 and finally a 4430. About ten times the horsepower Grandpa used back in the late 60's to do more work than I do.
