You can run on and on about healthcare but a few facts remain. First, the "fighting" is because of the folks involved, several have different ideas about HOW to go about "fixing" it. As we have been told over the years, there is more than one way to skin a cat.
Second, health care is a business. A big business. They are there to make money. Many of them could not care less about your health or well being. Just make money.
Third, health care is costly. Somebody has to pay for it. Whether through taxes, insurance premiums, or fee for service, somebody has to pay the bill. Shifting it from one pater to another is not a solution. It is only a temporary patch.
So, the debate continues. Personally, my main objection to "socialized" medicine is that the government is not well known for operating efficiently. I do not need several levels of bureaucrats having to make decisions on my health care needs.
