Hi I have a 1947 ford n-8 that has been in my wife's family since new. Its up my Prather Ca. on a family ranch that no body lives at for now I have been going up there for the poast 40 yeays taking care of it so I can retire there. Well this tractor starts all the time. I just have a pretty bad oil leak at the bottom of the distributor shaft housing on the front, there is a gap about 1/4 inch and it looks like either a cover goes there or maybe a bad oil seal at the bottom of the shaft don't know this is the only 8n I have work on, I have pictures can anybody help!!! thanks
