Bruce, you are a 100% correct, my area by Lake Huron is like that as well. The older Dutch population is great to get along with and are an asset to the community. The newer immigrants from Holland seem to be more self serving and arrogant with little regard for the established ones. A friend who runs a welding shop came to Canada as a teen from the Netherlands avoids doing work for the new ones just because of the hassle he gets from them. Funny thing is I’ve spent a lot of time over there, and never had any issues with anyone, seems all the ones who are obnoxious are drawn to Canada like a magnet.....
