For years I had a TracFone, buying minutes as I needed them, but reception was poor. Then I got a Kyocera flip phone from Verizon...tough little bugger than is about the size of a cig pack, but very durable. Under $50 a month, can send/receive text/pics/vid. I"ve tried smart phones twice- my fingers are too big for texting on them, and I simply don"t get along with any touch screen! My better half has a smart phone, but when I play with it, I lose so many screens!
