If the serial number of the engine is older than a 2000 it is exempt regardless of the truck numbers. For more best information call these people. OOIDA 800 444 5791. They can also set you up with a unit for a set price with no further service fees and such. I talked to them a couple of months ago about it. Also I just shut it all down because of all of this nonsense. I was like you ran 1 truck and 2 trailers. A step and an RGN. I didn't want to put the money into my 91 to put it on the road. I would if I had a borderline dated truck and engine get the documentation from the engine manufacturer and carry a copy in the truck as it might eliminate a lot of p matches at the scale.
