I have never seen anything with the letters GM that would stay running long enough to not put a tongue in it and junk the drivetrain. Dad bought an old 60's model 60chevy 283 5 spde with 2 spd rearend. Would start right up and then stop just as quick. Then if you could get it to start you were lucky. My brother bought an old 60's or early 70's chevy Cabover tandem hauled 1 load of beans and 1 load of corn hauled it home to get off road and has set since. Would like to see it go down the road. Has a hoist and 5 and 4 trans in it. Or some combination like that one lever is froze or something will not shift.
