I was sitting in the living room checking the news on the internet. Someone opens my front door and a couple walks in.
It's my neighbors from a couple of miles down the road. They are 88 years old and sharp as a tack (no dementia).
As they enter and I see them, I say howdy Joe and Arlene. They look surprised and kind of fumble for words. Finally, they say..."We thought you sold out and moved?"
I tell them that I did sell my place and was in the process of selling assets and packing so I can vacate the property.
After a few awkward minutes, they excused themselves ans left.
