Top speed is 27 MPH. 10-20 MPH works well in high gear. The ride my friend and I attended in Minnesota we signed up for the fast group, was supposed to run 15-18 MPH. Both the bike speedometer I have on the left rear wheel and GPS showed we started out running 21-22 MPH. Asked the leader to slow down a bit as scenery is more enjoyable at the slower pace we were hoping for. Two other groups were 10-12 and 12-15. Friends Oliver 1550 diesel has the high speed gears, he was just keeping up starting out. There are Mennonites in my area that put IH 400-450 ring and pinion gears in 560s, then with 18.4 X 38 tires they will speed the engine up a bit to run 35-40 MPH. I have those gears, but don't think I need to put them in as it works fine as is. Pulled the trailer with the pickup to the Mackinac bridge crossing this year, 250 miles in 2 1/2 days, running 14-14 1/2 MPH on that trip. Got just under 10 MPG.
