Hi We had problems with our 750 with a 372 this year, It would run fine for 5 mins or less under load then flat out fall on it's butt . It would appear there was plenty of fuel when it was bled, but as DT said we found a supply problem by accident. Dad pumped the primer real hard for a bit longer than bleeding it and the fuel stopped coming. We checked the filter on the suction line in the tank, as we'd had a problem there before years ago.
There was a couple bits of wheat whiskers stuck in the filter but not enough to hurt flow. We found part of the issue was whiskers up in the check/ non return valve on the primer pump intake port. We blew that out and checked the screen in the lift pump but found nothing there, then blew the tank feed to the lift pump back . There was a heck of a bang and stuff shot out the line at the tank end, so that was part plugged to. It ran fine for the rest of harvest. so maybe that could be doing something similar to Regards Robert
