Most of the time, hurtful words just glance off without so much as a scratch. For a while there, there were a lot more hurtful words than normal (normal....you know, in ALL THE YEARS I've been here! :wink: ) and it was really sad to see the members at each others throats - usually about something politically-related. However, it started morphing, and people who were political opposites started throwing the words without those words even having to be political. Things have been MUCH nicer since than; much more social and civil. When you stop to consider that everything we write stays on the YT website long afterwards, then you come to understand that in some instances, words really can matter - especially for our hosts, Kim & Chris.
While all of the replies here have been awesome, I believe Janicholson has summed things up best of all. Yes, sometimes things get to us that normally would just glance off without a scratch. That said, there "do" come times when one has to separate themselves for a while. Don't wanna see that happen, but can understand if you need it. Just don't make a rash decision - think it over carefully.
