Look into the weight of each fluid, calcium Chloride( Ca-Cl2 ) could add quit a bit more weight than anti-freeze. People like to complain about how fluid rusts rims, but it takes about 20 years after a leak starts for it to show up, 30 to 40 years to before the rim needs to be replaced. If you need to add more weight than you can get adding fluid, cast iron weights generally cost around $1 per pound used, more for new weights. It's a trade-off: spend now $800 for cast iron weights; or spend $100 (guessed) now for fluid and maybe spend another $700 for new rims 30 to 40 years in the future.
