I have no idea about that rake. But I did what you want to do this year.... sold the merger, and bought a Kuhn twin rake. It worked, and picked up full width swaths for A LOT less money than a big merger. You will really have to watch the setting so as not to pick up a lot of dirt and stones. I really think the reason it works for us is we are no-till, and haven't had to pick rocks in years... fields are smooth and stone free.
