I think you did fine if it's as nice as you say it is. Like stated earlier you can pay little or nothing for a tractor and then spend more than what you have in this one just to get it back up to snuff.
Tires are a big thing. If the tractor has good or new tires, that can easily double the value of the tractor.
You also have to take into consideration that prices are all over the place. Some areas have a better supply of used tractors which brings the price down. Certain tractors are more or less popular in different areas, driving the price down or up as well.
