If you know exactly what you are looking for online tire shopping might save you a little money but not much. I have bought tires online but it took a lot of time scrolling through the choices. If you have a local tire shop you trust they should know what tire works best on your vehicle and they might not be any higher priced than online. The tires I bought were for a couple of the farm pickups that don't wander far from home. The family van that travels quite a lot gets tires from a local trusted tire shop. I don't want to risk having tire problems 1000 miles from home.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
