I am building a turnip harvester out of an old lockwood 8440 potato harvester.Near the rear cross there is a gearbox but there is no room to have the chain go straight from the sprocket on the gearbox to the sprocket on the drive shaft of the rear cross. My question is can i use an idler on the drive side of the chain to get around steel bar that is in the way? I have never seen an idler on the drive side so im curious if it will work
