Hi kcm.MN He got that old major machine in the hey day of government grants for land drainage in the U.K. When he got busy he updated to a Barth trencher built on a ford 5000 with full tracks thats also shown on YouTube. Sadly I never saw either machine work when I first met him the drainage with those machines was pretty well over as the grants finished, both machines sat in his yard in the bushes looking rather unloved in a damp climate.
He sadly died around 98 or 99, I originally had a deal with him to buy the old machine that his widow would of honored as I was a good friend. My life changed then to with moving to Canada and I couldn't bring it easily. I know it was still for sale in 2000 with some other equipment from his custom backhoe business. I'm hoping somebody brought both of them and preserved them instead of just scraping them. Regards Robert
