Much of this thread mentions closing of mental health facilities. How is that relevant? The guy was not on anyone's radar, not a candidate for a mental institution. His evil, criminal intent was to murder lots of people. Could do it with driving a truck through a crowd. (Remember France?) If you had a crystal ball and brought this guy to the attention of police or mental health authorities, there is not a darn thing they could do. Well they could search his home (do we suspend the 4th Amendment?) and find a lot of guns. Just owning a bunch of guns doesn't make you evil. How many guys on this site own a bunch?
As I understand it, he used a bump stock to make 2 of them automatic. OK, ban those and a criminal will fab his own. Same thing with high capacity magazines. I can hear automatic gunfire around my property, especially in the fall. Is one of those guys crazy? I don't know, but I'm not hiding under my bed.

Yeah, she's got all the answers.

Every person with an agenda of some sorts will use this (and other tragedies) to advance their cause. That's the saddest part of all.

In our previous article we discussed capscrews, bolts, and nuts along with their relative hardness and thread sizes. In this segment we will finish up on our fasteners and then work with ways to keep them from loosening up in the field. Capscrews, bolts and nuts are not the only means of holding two parts together. When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and
