Most of the time it sits in one spot. The bearings are fine for that. Why should I invest $$ I wasn't planning to spend just to be able to lend a very expensive piece of machinery and take the chance someone messes it up? He ended up renting a wood chipper which is exactly what I do if I need something I don't own.
