I've seen the asking price for JD H around $5K. Selling it will allow you to buy a couple IH tractors.
I like a tricycle tractor over a wide front end. I have both with 6 ft finish mowers. Don't see any difference in front wheels compacting grass. A rear mount mower will leave grass more uncut grass when you turn than will a belly mower.
I have a Farmall C with a 6 ft belly and a Jubilee with a 6 ft rear finish mower. I think the Farmall C is an ideal zero turn mower. I use it to push snow, pull a 10k dump trailer and a 5K lawn roller. I don't think a A or B would work well for me because I do more than mowing. I also love the smooth ride.
