The bracket should be threaded so the screw threads right into it. Might be the threads are stripped? I don't remember how much bolt sticks out on the the inside of the bracket. If its long enough just add a lock nut to it. Simple fix that will last forever. If not enough bolt length to add a nut try a pry bar and pull outwards on the bolt head while you back it out. Worst case you can access it easily if you remove the lift cover but thats a much bigger job.
