Congratulations!
Funny the stuff that happens on wedding day. We had to take a ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island, where the wedding was to be. She went early, but I went to class (UW) and was just driving into the waiting lot when the ferry was pulling out. Very stormy day- I asked why the boat left early, and the ferry guy said, "oh, that was the previous boat- water's so rough we have gotten further and further behind- next boat in 45 minutes or so." Which would make me late for my own wedding. As I was walking back from talking to the ferry guy, a hand came out of a car window- it was wife's uncle, who was going to give her away. We were heading for a drink at the Crab Pot bar, and another hand comes out a window- its the judge who is going to perform the ceremony. We made a quick assessment that they weren't going to start without us, and the judge joined us for a drink or two as well.
I guess it worked out OK, we'll be 47 years in February.

Silo Filling Time On dairy farms back in the 30's and into the first half of the 40's, making of corn silage was done with horses pulling a corn binder producing tied bundles of fresh, sweet-smelling corn plants, nice green leaves with ear; the
