I remember when I worked at Central Tractor around 20 years ago our store received a memo to pull that pin kit from our shelf. I never heard any of the details but somebody who got hurt had a really good day in court in terms of a settlement. I am not saying that was justified but that is what happened. We were already selling the PTO yokes with the drive in roll pin to secure the latch pin. The ones that with a little rust that roll pin was never coming back out when the spring failed. So the retailers had additional incentive to pull that at the time 3.50 clip, spring, and pin kit and instead have the customer buy a at the time 20 dollar plus yoke depending on the size needed.
