Our daughter emailed us twice from Singapore yesterday. The trip is vacation for her and business for her travel partner.
She lives in Omaha now, but a couple of months ago she was talking with an old friend, and attorney she once worked with in Washington DC. During the conversation, he said, "BTW, I have to go to Hong Kong and Singapore in August. Want to go along?"
She said, "Sure, why not?". They had a 16 hour, non-stop flight from Chicago to Hong Kong, then on to Singapore. After a few days in Singapore, they'll go back to Hong Kong for a few more days. Then back to Chicago.
She and I are about tied, going west. I've been in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Okinawa, and Wake Island. She's been in Japan and South Korea, and now Hong Kong and Singapore.
I have her beat going east. The only place she's been in Europe is Germany. I've been in Gibraltar, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and the islands of Sardinia and Palma.

Along with square body lines and cylinder head protruding forward of the front axle. Would become the visual differentiation that people would quote to separate the Lanz from other period machines.
