I need a few 3/16" clevis pins with a 15/16" usable length. I found McMaster-Carr has just what I need. However, in this particular size, the price is inflated by 2500% compared to other lengths. I tried to convince them there was a pricing error, but they wouldn't budge. I then looked at other pins of the same size but different material or plating. Seems to be the same in all categories. The 15/16" usable length is inflated regardless. How become? I found some from another source with a 0.9063 usable length, but they may a hair too short. I may go ahead and get them and see if they will work. The next length increment is a big jump which is much too long.
Anyone know where I can get 3/16" plain steel clevis pins with a 15/16" usable length at a reasonable price?
