I work on tractors for a living and have for many years,mostly Fords. We have had more stuck clutches in the shop this year than I can ever remember. We have had more rain and damp conditions than ever before. Every one that we have had to split, the clutch disc has been rusted to the flywheel. One tractor a 5640 only sat outside for 3 weeks. We tried everything to keep from splitting the tractor, but we didn't succeed. I tell my customers , If you are going to let your tractor sit for any length of time block, wire or hook the pedal down. It will save a lot of headaches and repair bills.
