Here's a couple of pictures of my 4500 from when I changed the axle seals out. I cut the old seals off first because its easier to remove the bearings without damaging them, unless they need to be replaced. That is how my brother told me to do it, he worked for a Ford dealership, and then a New Holland dealership for many years. It's also easier to do one side at a time, only one of mine was leaking, but I went ahead and did both.
