We have lost two buildings to lightning around me this year. My farm got hit years back not a whole lot of damage but enough. Seen quite a few episodes over the years. Town building got it good, knocked chimney down blew out windows and made lots of kindling wood. Seen a few forest fires started by it. See a fence get it and blew lots of poles out of the ground. Same place always lost its electronics/electric stuff to it. One dairy farm lost some cattle to a strike. And when I was a kid a barn at one of my uncle places got hit and burned down. Many people witnessed that one. Guess insurance is good to have lets hear your stories.
