59 is a lot tops to clean up and as you have found out people have big ideas for them that don't work out. I would try to find somebody who deals in firewood and as you suggested get a lump sum offer for them 1/2 down and other half on time term. If you can't get anyone to bite for the lot then $20 a pick up load is about where it is around here for cut your own tops, firewood around here has gotten real cheap due to EAB.
